Nice. We're in a good, good place. Doesn't mean much in January but considering our schedule, you have to be happy that we are a potential 2 seed right now. I think the B1G will get a 1 seed and I think it will go to one of: Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan or Illinois.

If they can hire Nicholas Baer for this semester, why not bring in @PHawkKenyon as a special assistant & teach the team how to get to the 50/50 balls & rebound like he taught his twin sons?

NET is pretty pointless at this point but it is good Iowa is up there to start.

Interesting that NET has Kansas at #27 when the AP and Coaches Polls both have them at #6 even after a 25 point blasting at home.

Also, the AP Poll still has MSU at #23, while the NET has them at 120 in the current edition.

Program name bias is a very real thing. Look at Duke. #115 in NET but #21 in the hearts of sports writers everywhere. lol

It's pathetic. Analytics is best thing to happen to programs like Iowa's.

This is why the same programs tend to be ranked highly year after year,.. The people driving these systems are lazy and not particularly smart...

But they just moved up two spots to #24 in the Coaches Poll. Makes sense. They've had their last three games canceled and haven't played since December 16th. Best 3-2 team in the country!

NET formula changed some this year and boy is it interesting. Illinois now at 9-5 and two consecutive losses dropped from 6 to....9 this week.

Virginia blew out Clemson on the road and jumped from 33 to 10... Clemson had not played in 15 days and went 9 days without practice. That’s obviously not factored in there..

Colgate! Big W yesterday, move up from 21 to 13. Colgate is 4-1 with a loss to Army.

Unfortunately these ranking effect recruiting as well. You would think as tech literate as kids are today, they would start picking up on some of this, at least thats my hope going forward.....

Seems as though all the ranking systems have flaws. The USA/Coaches Poll is a joke from week to week. KenPom seems the most reliable
