2 Question Sunday

At this point, I don’t really have any goals. I try to enjoy the little things.

It’s like Ice Cube said:

Today, I didn't even have to use my AK
I gotta say it was a good day, shit!

Except in a suburban, middle-aged dad sort of way.

1. The dream of becoming a banker.

2. You see my father, when I was a kid, he took me to the bank. And he lifted me up, and he pointed to the teller and he said "Sonny boy, take a good look at him; that's going to be you some day!"

What are you living for?
To put my trust and faith in Jesus Christ and serve Him to
the best of my ability. To help other people in need.

Why are you living for it?
Because Christ died on the cross to forgive my sins and rose
from the grave so that all who believe in Him with have eternal
life in Heaven.

Did you recently try suicide after realizing you would never become a banker?

Yes I did - if I can't be a banker, I don't want to live. I was just recently turned down by my third bank in two weeks, and I was very upset that day; I even considered ending it all. Luckily I have a close friend who went so far as abandoning his weekly charity work with the blind to rush to my side and talk me out of it.

1.) Eternal bliss in the Beatific Vision.

2.) Literally nothing else matters compared to a person's eternal fate, IMO.

"What is not eternal is worth nothing."
