2006 Boise State Football Team and Return to Glory

Boise State had a soft schedule. No true play makers. No chance... but they went undefeated and did the impossible against Oklahoma. What an awesome sight! They remind me a lot of this Iowa team: take care of business, step it up.

Maybe a statue of liberty too?

FYI... everyone needs to sit down and read this book if you have not lately. It leaves a warm special feeling inside and how these glory days are back!

I remember watching that OU smackdown - it was a thing of beauty!

I cannot recall a team running the 'hook and ladder', and then a 'Statue of Liberty' play to utter perfection in the same game - let alone a nationally televised/major BOWL game.

I hate your blue turf field, but always loved watching you guys play some of the big boys and rooting for the BSU underdogs...
