2015 or 2007 - which roster works?

Iowa was 7-5, then 6-7 coming into 2007 season. Now, Iowa comes into 2015, coming off 8-5 and 7-6.

The schedules have similarities with B1G opener to Wisconsin, road trips to Northwestern and Iowa State.

I like the potential at QB for Iowa in 2015. C.J. Beathard should out pace Jake Christianen.

Iowa needs 2nd unit to step up in 2015. The 2007 team was one of Kirk Ferentz's youngest teams.

Iowa needs junior and senior leadership to step up in 2015.

It should be an interesting season. Iowa's run stopper at MLB in 2007 was Jacoby Coleman, a true freshman?

Iowa has a five man LB unit that is lean on PT. They clearly need to step up in 2015. Will they provide enough fire power to clean up the front 7 or assist the back 7 on pass coverage?

Iowa needs DE Matt Nelson to provide depth. How talented is this youngster? Notre Dame and Stanford wanted him.

Jay Scheel is another RS frosh now on 2nd team. Can he fill a role in 2015?
