Let’s hope so Boj- and maybe even better than the best case .. another 12-0 would shut the media’s pie holes up and who wouldn’t want to see another 12-0 season... I know it’s far fetched as it takes the correct bounces going your way and staying healthy on both sides of the ball but it definitely could be done with IOWA’s Schedule... that’s the f(wasn’t a complete disasterart of college footballeveryone is 12-0 to start the season until they lose.. but I truly think the Hawks can do it with some breaks here and there.. time will tell but I truly look forward to this season more than any other in recent memory besides the 2016 debacle...

It's a trap analogy for fans. A labyrinth for each team to get excited about their prospects for 2018. For one team (in this case lets say Iowa) to achieve the best scenario five other teams in the West probably have to have their worst scenario or somewhere far below their best. If others in the BIG West look at it the same way everyone comes away happy. It's a way for the writer to project outcomes in the BIG without going out on a limb and predicting whom will beat who. And fans from each team can get excited by cherry-picking their own results.

This might sound a little snide, but if Iowa were to split the WI/Penn St games how is the "best case" record not 11-1? Looking at the schedule what other games will Iowa not be favored to win? At Minnesota?
