2025 Concerts

Speaking of seeing a band before we no longer can, I ended up getting tickets for AC/DC. I realize they are so far past their prime it's probably going to be sad, but I've never seen them live and figure it's the one and only chance I'll get. I'm setting pretty low expectations, hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Will certainly make it to several more, but nothing else planned at the moment.

Post 'em if ya got 'em.

Goose 2x in Milwaukee, February
Greensky Bluegrass in Chicago, March
Billy Strings 2x Rosemont, June

Considering Sting Cheese Incident at the end of this month.

I’ll be at the Friday Night Greensky show. Was hoping to see yonder mountain in Evanston but I have a conflict. Might go to the Thursday night goose show in Milwaukee.

Waiting for phish to announce summer tour

Taking the boy to see ac/dc at soldier field

I'm also doing Friday, picked based on the opener. Who knows, might end up going Saturday too.

Going to be on the field for ac/dc?

have tickets for SOAD at Soldier Field in August.
I get ads on my FB for that concert. If it wasn't all the way in Chicago, I'd love to go.

I also get ads for "Tool in the Sand" which is a 3-day concert in Punta Cana, DR. I looked and Tool plays 45- minute sets the first two days, and doesn't play the third day. That doesn't seem worth the cost.

Only thing for sure right now is seeing Big Head Todd & the Monsters in March; still debating whether I want to go to the show in St Pete on a Friday night, or the next night in Orlando. I'll also end up at the festival I go to every year in early October, assuming it doesn't get canceled by a hurricane like it has a couple of times over the last few years.

Who knows with Vibrant. I'm working the Swordson comedy show this Sunday and then some show next month I've never heard of.

I have mentioned it a few times on here but in my opinion, the best show Vibrant music Hall had last year was Flatland calvary. They legit had that place going and having a good time. They come back on Valentines day and if the wife and I can get friends and family freebies might ditch our plans and go.

Not much.

Saw Bob Schneider at Lonelyland in Austin - will see him again in May here in STL

And maybe Jack White here this spring.

The Ramkat in Winston-Salem. You?

I'm really looking forward to seeing them; on the Florida swing, Hazel Miller is going to be with them...as good as they are, she adds a lot to a few of the tunes.

He's playing at an outdoor venue in St Pete (Jannus Live) on Friday, 3/28; then in Orlando at House of Blues the next evening. I'm still debating which show I'll go to. I'd prefer the outdoor show in St Pete, but traffic to get there on a Friday evening will suck and the only couple of hotels nearby are expensive, so I'll probably end up at the Orlando show.

Reggae Rise Up March 16-19 in St. Pete
Niko Moon March 29 at Jannus in St. Pete

I would love Reggae Rise Up. Looks like a blast. Love these: Slightly Stoopid, Elovaters, Mihali, Rebelution, SOJA, Pepper, Tribal Seeds, Dirty Heads and The Movement.

Just missing Stick Figure!

I'll be going to one day of the Welcome to Rockville festival at the Daytona International Speedway. Not sure what day, yet.

When we went to RRU Stick Figure was there and they were damn good, as was SLightly Stoopid. Not sure why they aren't playing this time around. Dirty Heads mailed it in, I think they imbibed a bit too much pre-set. Also, RRU does Vegas in October, and Maryland in Juneish?

A good time for sure. Take your lawn chair(limited seating, comes in handy between sets/want a break).

Any Cross Canadian Ragweed fans on here?

4 straight nights reunion show(s) at Boone Pickens Stadium (Oklahoma State) on 4/10 through 4/13.

I would love to go (saw them I think 13 times throughout college in the 2000's), but alas we already had a family vacation planned that week so no-go for me (which apparently getting tickets was damn near impossible anyways)

Hoping they end up playing a few more shows here and there.

Sounds like a great time. I've seen Stick Figure in Chicago the last two summers, one of my favorite bands. They can really shred/jam too, a friend of my was surprised, don't really get that sense from the studio albums.
