Your such a clown. We're not getting blown out by USC. They're a shell of their legendary self. We'll kick the game winning field goal in the last 30 sec in Lincoln. So let it be written, so let it be done....
That really doesn't matter. The point is their just not good enough to run Iowa off the field....
USC doesn't have Carson Palmer at QB. We aren't gonna get blown out by them. We need to pack that stadium this year. If season is getting along well we may travel to it.
Just added a couple season tix to my existing today and there won't be much available for tickets for long based on what I could see in there for what was available for adds and upgrades. I am sure those first couple games will have a decent number of singles for a while, but we are gonna get to sell outs.
USC is going to be improved. I fully expect us to lose this game. They lost to Michigan by 3 at Michigan. Lost @ Minnesota by 7. Lost at home to Penn State by 3 in OT, lost @ Maryland by 1, Lost @ Washington by 5.
That's 5 losses by a combined 19 points for their 7-6 overall season.
They won 4 of their last 6 games though. They can score points, and they will score points at home against Iowa. They scored 24 points or more against 6 of their B1G opponents and in 8 games if you count their games against Notre Dame and Texas A&M.
Close losses count as wins. I see.
Super. Now go back and see how many games Iowa has lost by a few points the last five years. A bunch, and they mean nothing, other then they were NOT wins. Oh, and if Iowa actually shows up with a passing offense, we'll be a much different team.
Iowa has retroactively won like seven national championships.
Las Vegas has both Iowa and USC at 7.5 wins.

Friday games at night are another factor. Unsure whether USC game will go like UCLA game last year played on Friday.

0-3 but 2 of 3 have been close. It will be interesting in Nov. Most of the other games have been earlier in the year where we are usually developing.
I know OSU recruits on an elite level, but I am not seeing it with the Buckeyes this year. In my opinion, Penn State should be a fairly significant favorite to win the conference.
After they took the ass hat DC from Ohio State. I am not sold on Allar at all. Won't surprise me if lil ol Iowa knocks them out in Kinnick.
We shouldn’t be surprised if that happens, but I think the Nits have the fewest questions of anyone in the conference.

Major question is whether or not Franklin can win the big game at Penn state. They’ve been close but haven’t gotten over the hump.
Holy cow, -135?! I’m going to watch this like a hawk and see if that moves any more. I vowed a few weeks ago not to bet on Iowa’s win total because I didn’t want to sweat out an ugly game against Nebraska again. Well, if it’s 6.5, I don’t think we’ll be waiting that long for win #7.

Yeah, but they said the same about Dabo, Kirby, Day…ultimately I think it comes down to having a QB that can make enough plays when it matters. I’m not sure Allar is that guy.
OSU was so good that they didn’t need much from Howard through their playoff run. I don’t think PSU is at THAT level, but if they can get a receiver or two to pop, while maintaining their standard on defense, I don’t see why they can’t get back to the semifinals.
Having the qb definitely helps 😁. Howard, while not asked to carry the offense, made big plays when asked to and otherwise avoided the big mistake….Allar hasn’t done that against top competition yet.
Franklin has also played a role where his teams just seem prone to making that crucial mistake, or not being ready for the big moments, and that’s been an issue since his McSorely/Saquon teams.
Will be interesting to see how many Duck fans show up.
Especially with a QB that spent the last four seasons in South Dakota.
The weather thing is overstated. The average temp diff between Iowa City and Eugene in November is only 8 degrees and it's often wet in Oregon.
I’ve said this numerous times – the idea of teams from warm climates having difficulty playing in the cold is something just made up by Northerners/Midwesterners to make themselves feel better about the shitty weather they have.
Tennessee sure did look cold on multiple occasions vs Ohio State.
Still think we'll take an L to ISU, Indiana, PSU, Oregon, USC, and either MSU/Little Debbie. Rough schedule this year.
For most part until all the realignment majority of conferences similar weather. Big 12 with Texas schools and OU was outlier. But see it more in the pros and I’d say it does play a factor at times. Vice versa it was one of the patriots players said they always played bad vs dolphins later in year because not use to heat and humidity that time of year.
