IA has a pretty decent crop in this class too. a good amount in the 40-80 range (with plenty of time to move up).

Interview with the parents said Melvin tagged along to every visit Bo did so they wouldn’t have to do it again. He probably already knows where he wants to go.
That’s great to hear, I have kind of always been one to not count your chickens before they hatch but that’s good and think that helps our team if we can land him, and with that hopefully some other big recruits in 27 class will follow.

Careful. You’re talking to a guy who thinks anyone ranked in the top 100 is a big time recruit.
Just hope coaches don't take that for granted, especially in the NIL era. Need to keep recruiting him as though he's fully undecided.
Not a lock according to Bo’s dad in I interview after Bo committed, but we seem to be leader. Bo said he will try to sell guys on what we could do if they come wrestle with him and the other talented young guys we got the last few classes. They train at 5am in Bo’s basement every day and live together, so if he can influence anyone it would be Melvin and his little brother. Bo also said during recruiting he’s looking for someplace his whole family could fit well at. I was very impressed how he overcame the physical boy versus man thing against Duke to be one bad call at the beginning of the match from winning. I have always been super impressed with Duke every time I see him wrestle, and didn’t think Melvin stood a chance.
Definitely, don’t let Taylor or Carl get to their foot in the door by being lazy. I don’t think that will happen, I think they have finally learned about modern recruiting and use of NIL and the transfer portal.
not sure. i just know they are in play. currently they (the Siduns) think Landon begins college as a 125.
not sure. i'm told he's staying at 150 for a while.
i don't think there's a need to, especially with JR Miller in the fold too. but this class is full of 197 talent.

Well Iowa teams cannot wrestle in Ironman but he beat the kid who did win Ironman (Caleb Noble) at Cheesehead in the finals. Has had some up and down moments.
Given his connection with Pennslyvania and DT, I would assume he would look hard at both OkSt and PSU, right?
Their dad was still wearing a Hawkeye shirt at the US Open less than two weeks ago. Dont think the daughter transferring has any impact
Not sure how much of a connection he has to PA. He wasn't there too long. He has bounced around a lot from state to state and different clubs. He is a good wrestler and room guy. 125 and 133 should be secured up with Deluca and Sidun in the future.
willie has one of them ranked in the 20s the other is 48. so rebounding a little bit, but Id imaging they will end up with Tony
He was wearing a MN wrestling shirt at the US Open for those that think those sort of things are a sign.
Did not see the Raneys in any Hawkeye gear but Jacob Warner was hanging around them and a group of illinois kids quite a bit
Interesting I didn't know he was wearing a MN shirt but was told a few weeks ago he really likes MN
