Harry was a lot of things, but stupid about the potential to be used when the GOP was in control was not one of them. He obviously knew it will be used in the other direction some day.

And the progression started from blocking Clinton nominations through to today, step by step, each party when they came in power slowed confirmation of opposing party judges.

Stupid or short sighted, he was one of the two. Still no evidence to believe the filibuster would have been ended by the Republicans. Harry doing so was stupid AF.
