If I’m ever in Brooklyn I would absolutely eat at Katz’s. It’s iconic and the national gold standard for a Jewish delicatessen. Besides $30 for a sandwich like that seems like a pretty good value for the NYC area.
I don't think so, Manny's is always too dry imo. The potato pancake at Manny's is impossible to beat though.
They can leave that shite off then.I'm pretty sure it's Russian dressing.
I would but it would likely be 3 meals for me.Would you pay $27 right now if you could have this exact sandwich fresh from this place tonight for dinner? I think I would.
How are Jewish folks not the fattest folks in NYC?
Russian dressing on a reuben?
The better question is, would you pay $27 AND wait in line for 1-2 hours.
The sandwich was massive. Enough to split with my no pic wife. That is not an outrageous price… Especially in New York, or Hawaii, or even in certain areas of Florida.
You are out of the will, bud.I'm not judging, just always amazed. My wealthy FIL was this way about the weirdest things.
I'll never forget him absolutely SCREAMING at me to jump up and recover a $10 bait bucket that the wind was blowing off his dock at his Marco Island home before it blew away. As I'm running past the $75,000 boat moored next to the dock, the absurdity of the situation struck me.
"I just BOUGHT THAT!" he said when I returned.
LOL
