Seems like this project is taking an eternity (both in Davenport and on the IL side). They were working on the same stretch when I moved here back in 2011.

What's this project for?

The original notice from the Iowa DOT said bridge and overpass work several places between the river and I-80. What caught my eye was the project isn't slated to be completed until around Thanksgiving. Get used to all the orange cones.

Lute, this doesn't make sense. Why would Davenport want to make Jumers ride better when they have a casino being built right now?

It will be a long time before Davenport gets their act together.
They can not even agree on the road construction to get
to the new Casino. In the meantime Jumers will continue
to attract retirees to their Casino.

That's what I thought. They already started paving and digging, also I believe they are doing something with a bridge over 74 to go over there.

Yeah they've been working on expanding that 67th Street overpass since last year and they've been pushing dirt around by the 80-74 interchange for a few weeks. The Davenport casino is well on the way I think.
