3 appealing coaches remain - 5 openings

I actually think Iowa could hire a coach other than one of these 3 who would be successful. But any of these 3 I would actually prefer more than DD. And I’d be excited about each of them.

Problem is there are 5 major openings. Nova, WV, Virginia, Minn, and Iowa. Bummer would these 3 coaches filling one of the other spots.

I would assume Medved will go to Minnesota and Odom will go to UVA. Calhoun, Drew, and Huss are all likely going to be candidates for openings.

It’s hard for me imagine BM in Philly or West Virginia but I said the same thing about DeVries so who knows. My guess is all 5 likely have their guy, they just need to let the tournament play out.

Most coaches do not want to deal with something like this until after the tournament. I understand the agent might be involved to some extent into the negotiations however the coach himself would expect to meet face to face with the AD.
