3 Seed Iowa State Women About To Lose

Yeah, they destroyed a UNI team that's generally good defensively. 35 points in the 2nd quarter alone.

Mo state best drake in the MVC title game. They’re playing really good ball right now.
Yep. That's why I picked them to go to the Sweet 16.

Kind of like the Oregon men right now. Much tougher matchup though in the next round against Stanford. Only double digit seed to reach the Sweet 16 this year, though without looking it up, I'd assume that's more common in the women's game.

How many state records do you hold??? I'll wait. (How long do you want to wait? Is there a limit to your outrage?........)

They couldn't even make layups. Kept waiting for SOMETHING to go in the basket. Nope. Carleton and Clark played well. Nobody else.

Missouri State played extremely well in both games at Hilton. I think they've won 24 of their last 26. But I don't think they have the behemoths necessary to be among the elite in WBB.

I know just the in the last few years the MAC had both Buffalo and Central Michigan in the sweet 16 as double digit seeds and 2 years ago Oregon was in the elite 8 as a 10 seed.

The one seeds in the women's game still dominate as far as their success rate at reaching the final 4, but below that there's a decent amount of parity.

I watched a piece on Elle during her last state tournament and she seemed to be one dedicated young lady. She's the reason I wanted to watch the game.

It's improving.....

Also, Oregon showed they were on the rise given that they've jumped to a dominant 2 seed this year.

I have relatives that live in poky and when she was in the 8th grade my uncle said she would go down as the states best player. I told him a small school girl could not be the best player in the state. So we made a bet and I lost by her junior year. She was/is one of the best shooters I’ve ever seen on the women’s side.

The coverage of her last night was well deserved not only for her, but her family. My uncle said they used to drive to Ames when she was younger to attend some AAU teams practice? The sacrifice her parents had to make are paying off! I’ll be cheering for them in the next round!

That and the ball wasn't bouncing their way all night
