Here is a breakdown of who is purchasing Rose Bowl tickets off Stubhub and Seatgeek:

"StubHub and SeatGeek both report 31 percent of Rose Bowl sales to addresses in the state of Iowa, followed by California at 20 percent. SeatGeek lists Illinois addresses third at 10 percent and Wisconsin with 5 percent of sales."

I'd imagine a lot of the California sales are likely Iowa fans. No reason for Stanford fans to drop $600 a ticket when they can likely go through their ticket office for face value.

Wow. That would lead me to think about 60 to 65k Iowa fans. Maybe more. It holds about 90k now after the remodeling correct?

Think it now holds 92k+.

We're Iowa fans purchasers from California although I can't imagine there are enough of us out here to make up much of that 20% number.

I'm guessing it ends up about 65k Iowa.

Yes, but two years ago they had over 95k for MSU v. Stanford.

Used to hold over 100k. I don't when that changed?

Not sure of the exact date (and I'm 95% sure I'm right on this), but they recently yanked out some upper tier capacity to install additional club seating. UCLA club seat season ticket holders get access to their seats for the Rose Bowl - there have been a number of these floating around on Stubhub the last couple of weeks.

My sister is a Stanord alum and donating alumni association member. She signed up for 4 tickets but will most likely not get them due to demand. They don't travel as well as most P5 schools but it is not true that everyone who wants to go can get tickets via their allotment.
