No way OK State should have jumped us. A close win over Iowa State jumps them four spots in the top 10. Don't like it.
We are rated about 3 spots to low. Clem no.1, Iowa should be no.2 but I'll give it to OSU because they started higher than us. Although if you're rating who's better so far it should be Iowa over OSU.
Oh crud. Well in that case, I don't believe they are worthy of the 4 spot if Iowa is not. The good thing is is that OK State will have to earn it these last two weeks….
I agree Okie State shouldn't be ahead of us. Okie State has beaten 1 team with a winning record. Iowa has beaten 5 teams with winning records and two top 25 teams. Baylor and Okie State also didn't play a single power 5 team non-conference.
This poll means nothing. Iowa's ahead of OK State in the one that matters and as long as Iowa takes care of business they'll remain ahead
I wouldn't care if IOWA was ranked #15 if there were any logic and reasoning that there were 14 teams hypothetically better. There is no logic nor reasoning with this system.
Coaches polls or writers polls SHOULD be irrelevant once the CFP committee makes the first vote. These polls are only a distraction.....their sole purpose is an attempt to undermine and influence the CFP committee. These polls are nothing better than a lobby trying to swing a vote; and they do.
And with that....
The whole system still remains a popularity contest.

I'll take it a step further......the coaches poll and writers poll should be discontinued as college football doesn't need a bunch of jockeys steering the season before the season begins.

I was at the isu game yesterday. Osu got a lot of highly questionable calls. Also they didn't look the part either. There was nothing that stood out about them to me. Especially on defense.
Other than they've actually played good defense against good teams this year and osu hasn't. Then nothing.
Minnesota uses their te's well against Iowa and they were creative for two touchdowns.
