My main gripe is 60 Minutes failure to adequately credit Clark with the explosion in attendance and viewership. Trying to attribute the massive increase in interest to the 2024 draft class in general as well as the rise of other WNBA stars like Aja Wilson and others is disingenuous. The cold hard numbers don’t lie. The boost was 90%+ CC effect.
It was more of a general interest or promotional piece than an investigation….which is fine because they do those segments with celebrities occasionally…..and Clark was rightfully afforded that status, just missing the extra credit.People know the truth, but for a show premised on hard hitting journalism, i agree with your take.
