I'll die on this hill. I don't pretend to know shit about the WNBA but I know who Cheryl Miller is. All-time baller, coaching experience on both levels, speaks highly of CC, instant credibility on the sideline. Does anyone really think these bitches and officials would have pulled all this bullshit with this OG Cheryl Miller on the sideline instead of Christie Sides? Because I don't. Imagine being a free agent and getting to play for her and with CC? Shit I'd pay to watch her stand up for her players. Plus we can hope she brings this back

For years you have wanted to be a WNBA GM. And now that CC is so popular, you feel safe to express your love of the Dub.
She took a team that hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2016 to the playoffs in her second year. She was one of three candidates for coach of the year. She took a team that had the potential to implode due to outside influences (more so than any other team) and got them playing together very well. I can’t see any GM or president ever firing a coach in that situation.
She started a girl for almost half a season who had no business getting minutes. She than started another girl who had no business starting over Hull. She tried turning thoroughbred CC into a Mule. She tried forcing Indiana into being a half court team. She wouldn't know an out of bounds play if it bounced off her head. She never stood up for her players as evidenced by CC being the victim of almost 1 out of every 5 flagrant fouls committed without any action by Sides.
She didn't take the team to the playoffs. She actually prevented the team from any chance at home court advantage. CC took the team to the playoffs by making everyone else on the team better in spite of Sides. She is just an awful coach.
And that’s what you see, not necessarily what anyone with decision making power sees. Coaches, just like players, take time to get to know their team and find the right chemistry, which she did. Everything you’re saying she did, she improved on throughout the year….and in the end, they made the playoffs for the first time since 2016 in her second year. She’s not getting fired because some people on a message board don’t like her.
She didn't do anything besides ride the coattails of a top 3 player in the league. In fact, she did her best to prevent her mega star player from having a record breaking year.
Can you explain Wallace, Smith, and KLS minutes?
I can kind of explain Smith, but not Wallace or KLS. Temi replaced Smith but then got hurt, and then Dantas wasn't ready to go until later in the season. But, by the end of the season, Temi and Dantas should have gotten all of the minutes unless there was foul trouble or fatigue.
