That's the story. IU just could not miss

Give Indiana credit....they really played well tonight. If they don't turn it over and play with that much energy on defense they are the best team in the big ten.

They hit plenty of well contested shots too.

Take off your hater glasses

Yes, they are talented team and the way they shot, yeah they would beat most teams. I think a really good defensive team wouldn't let them get into this type of roll as easy as Iowa did.

And that's our achelis heel....Bohannon and Jok are not going to stop Indiana's guards.

But to me it was our poor shot selection and quick shooting vs moving ball resulting in terrible transition defense. Too many transition pts killed us.

No defense.

You see this with McCafferys teams. It seems when teams get "hot" we struggle with our defense? I mean last night we left Blackmon open on an OB play for a 3.

Some of those 3's were contested, but most of them were wide open. Also IU is a tough guard because if you come out on the 3, then you leave your bigs 1-1 vs the top post player in the Big Ten. So its kind of like pick your poison.

It was a bad 2nd half (1st half I thought was good). This team will get better in the off-season. They will be a much improved team next year.

What happened last night is what I was afraid of when the matchup was set. Indiana likes to play fast like Iowa, so that played right into their hands. I was afraid Indiana would get hot and they did. Iowa can't keep up with that torrid pace, especially when the defense was lacking last night.

They were having this type of game every other game in December and January. As February progressed, so did their play. The progression of this team, with the makeup of the players' experience, should have had Fran as coach of the year.

They played against us like we did against Maryland. When a team shoots that well they can beat anyone

Think about this. If Indiana had not lost OG Anunoby, they would probley have won the Big ten or at least been at the top. They have a Boat load of talent. Even losing him, they still are one of the most dangerous teams in the B10 and Give them credit. If they handle Wisky like they did us and shoot that well they will win the whole damn thing.
