Yeah, 69 baby! Did that on purpose suckazzzzzz!

Now, on to the more serious part. Interesting segment on 60 Minutes tonight about how completely unprepared we are for drone incursions in some of our most sensitive and secret areas. I was surprised with how candid the officers were that were questioned. Even today, we basically have minimal ability to detect or defend against them. I’ve long thought the next big terrorist attack will be via drone. The barrier to entry is about as low as it can be to operate them and the chances of flying them into heavy populated areas without someone / something stopping them is pretty much zippo. The claim of the guy at the end that we can’t rely on two big oceans and friendly borders to keep away an attack on our soil is very true.

Enjoy making this political HORTers!

One thing I’ve wondered for a while is whether we had embedded any special forces/ experts with the Ukrainians to understand how warfare is evolving in real time. We should be able to gather a wealth of intelligence on what works, what doesn’t work, etc. especially with respect to drone warfare.

Seems like a big missed opportunity if not. Yes, I know it puts Americans at risk, but it also helps protect our troops in the long run.

Didn’t read……. Did we ever figure out:

- where they originated from?
- who built them?
- where they were being stored during the day time?
- what the purpose of them were?

A bunch of farmers with shotguns would make short work of the drone swarms.

There was some interesting discussion in the segment about shooting things down over civilian America. Basically, we’re pretty confused about how to handle it. I know plenty of Ioway bois though that would take you up on your offer. They love themselves some shootin’!

We have “toys” from Sharper Image that can shoot flies with salt. Surely they have something for shooting drones

Democrats show delight every time the USA looks weak. They blow there wad over it. 60 minutes claims the USA sucks and the liberals jump up and down and cheer.

You’re the kind of voter (assuming you’re of voting age) that can’t be retrieved. I’m always looking for the fringe MAGA voters that understand logic

Makes you wonder if the Biden Administration should have spent more time on this and less time hanging pride flags from government buildings.

Spider-Man 3 showed me all I want to know about drones and their potential!

One of the incidents covered in the episode involved a swarm of drones following Navy ships in the Pacific in 2019. It's believed they came from a Hong Kong flagged freighter.
Why didn't Trump spend more time on this instead of golfing, lining his pockets with cash, or strong arming Ukraine into creating false information about Biden?

The biggest weakness shown by Americans is our “Republican” officials retweeting kremlin propaganda.

Our country is filled with ignorant traitors.

The stuff a Langley AFB was weird. Possible mass hysteria, but there seems to be an underlying issue. At face it seemed too large and too well coordinated. 40 ish drones at once, and some as big as a small car? Where were they coming from? That’s too large and too well coordinated to not leave a footprint.
