The "Dad's favorite TV shoes" thread made me think of all the shows I loved back in the 80s!

SITCOMS:
- Family Ties (my favorite)
- Growing Pains
- Who's the Boss (Oh, Samantha!)
- Silver Spoons
- Webster
- Benson

WEEKLY ADVENTURE:
- Airwolf!!
- Knight Rider
- A-Team
- Street Hawk
- Blue Thunder
- Tales of the Golden Monkey
- Magnum P.I.
- Dukes of Hazard

STUCK WATCHING WITH MY PARENTS:
- Dallas (who shot JR was epic in my parent's circle of friends)
- Remington Steele
- Dynasty
- Crazy Like a Fox
- Falcon Crest
- Scarcrow and Mrs. King

Dallas & Dynasty were two shows that
had huge ratings. Both had good actors
and actresses who made them "must
see TV".

The Great Lost TV Decade for me.

I kid you not, that entire list - I never watched a single solitary minute of any of those shows my entire life.

Edited to add, Optimist's list - I have watched MWC and The Simpsons via rerun...but again, never watched any of the rest.
 
Nobody wants to admit to watching The Cosby Show? It was the #1 sitcom in the 80s.

I indirectly mentioned it. I loved the show. Had I known at the time that Bill was a rapey scumbag, I wouldn't have watched a second of it.

Crime Story, V, Murder She Wrote, Miami Vice and Magnum P.I. were some of my favorites. I liked Growing Pains, A-Team and Who's the Boss, as well.

Anyone else like Head of the Class? Definitely my favorite, as I was a kid and it was about young people in a school, which I could relate too.

Night Court was a guilty pleasure as I wasn’t supposed to be watching it.

Soap ('77-'81)
The Incredible Hulk ('77-'82)
Three's Company ('77-'84)

LOL. Dallas was the only show on that list that I watched; Mrs. No Pics, however, never missed an episode of Cro-Magnum, P.U. That guy had an open invitation to park his boots at the foot of her bed anytime.
