Of course not because then they are no longer the victims. Black lives matter couldn't care less when it comes to black people being killed by Gang bangers. This is the reason why their movement is irrelevant to 90% of the country. The media likes to report on it but people only watch in hopes of seeing a train wreck. It is funny as hell to watch them burn down their infrastructure and then go back to contributing nothing to this country the very next day. great reality TV.

Funny but I'm guessing that one of the many dumbasses that burned down Ferguson and who black lives matter protested with did a drive by shooting.

Know Whey!, In Ferguson????? Shocked!!!! Place should be napalmed off the face of the earth. Absolute and total craphole filled with generations of government dependent scum.

Yup and the funny thing is that CNN and MSNBC think there are more than 10% who care about them fools which is maybe why very few people watch their programming. Maybe the next time they vote for the dems they will still be able to do nothing and get an extra $500 per month in walking around money.

Why does it matter who kills the innocent? As in, why get mad at one instance, and not angry at another?

How many times do you really need to read this. There are, literally, dozens of threads on this very issue.

When government acts, the people under its governance should be concerned.................right?

So what is the constant among these protests? Who was the actor in Ferguson? Baltimore? Etc.?

This is private action...unless it really was law enforcement? Also, they probably will catch somebody involved (see the Cop killer in MS (?)) and if they do they will convict.

I can't tell if some of you just disregard this, or really can't grasp it.

Also, who says people aren't angry? What a ridiculous strawman.

The reality is that the supporters of blacklivesmatter aren't targeting the biggest taker of black lives. Then again, most people aren't quick to point the fingers at themselves.

Are they required to? Why can't they go after governmental action?

Is the government truly at fault here though? Why is there such a movement to enshrine the case of Brown as the governments wrongdoing? The government by the way has had a complete face lift since last year. Yet the problems now are even worse. Also, the jury found that the cop who shot him was innocent of any malevolent act, so your argument that he didn't get convicted is null.

Speaking of when they catch the person involved, I ask you to pay attention to the reaction depending on the color of the shooters skin. Tell me what you think will happen if the person is white, and what you think will happen if the person is black.

Of course they aren't required to, but its without a doubt ineffective to completely ignore the major cause of what they are fighting for is it not? This is simple logic here Iowa, it's common sense.

Good for Mrs. DeWitt. Yet another reason for Cardinal fans to be happy about the organization.

Thread title is misleading: I expected to see link including "Jenner" and "2024." nttiawwt

Don't bother engaging Aegon_Dolezal, his "simple logic" requires one to share racist assumptions and outlook, for example that he has any frickin idea "what they are fighting for" or that "things are way worse now."

And that "Brown case" is 100% about subject of one DOJ investigation-was Wilson justified-and subject of second DOJ investigation-long standing systemic racist government-is irrelevant.

So, you are saying it is ineffective to complain about Law Enforcement action with pointed protests of the action in the places it occurs...............because you also don't protest other killings in other places?

If they are successful in obtaining better/proper procedures from law enforcement resulting in less officer involved shootings of black people....that would seem like a great success, even if they don't stop every other murder.

No,....I said it was ineffective to ignore the biggest cause of a problem. That particular problem, is a direct link to the other problem. Black people shooting each other, which leads to more violence, leads to more run-ins with the police, which leads to possible killings of them by the police, whether justified or not justified.

Very simple. Also, it's hard to take blacklivesmatter seriously, when it only seems to matter when it's not other black people doing the killing. Killing is killing.

Black people who are smarter than the idiots within blacklivesmatter community, funded by Soros by the way, also understand this. There is in fact a push against black on black violence and has been for some time, but it has taken a back seat to the media fueled excitement that Ferguson has caused. Put Baltimore in that category as well.

Probably more like 99% of the country.

Black people would probably get shot less if they deserved it less. This isn't the 1960s anymore.

How about not breaking the law? If they are at home on the X-box they won't get the dead.

How about the Charleston church shootings? No government action there. Just a white dude.

When the name of your movement is "Black Lives Matter," and you completely ignore the number one cause that takes black lives, it's hard to take anything out of your mouth seriously.

That's not a bad point, but that was due to it being quite clearly via a racist manifesto. Also much of the protests I reAd about were, in fact, about the government - the flag.

So if your movement is "pro life" and you make no stance about death penalty, war, genocide, etc. is that the same thing?

Would you really think differently if it was, "black lives matter, so please government stop singling is out and killing us..."?

I tend to think not.

Movement should focus on heart disease? Or are you referring to abortion?
