This group could arrange financing quickly, and there is political will behind a MLB quality stadium. Along with Las Vegas, there is some logic to adding to the geographic mix of the MLB. As the article mentions, it isn't just the possible movement of the As and Rays, but expansion to 32 teams being looked at. The As are a disaster, I'd be leery of courting them to move to my city.
