I think we will be REALLY good this coming season...better than predicted by B10 and national pundits. I am guessing a slight drop off in total wins for the season for which this roster shows......but, I really believe that we see a different brand of bball, one with which Fran is much more comfortable, with this roster. Once the majority of players on the above listed roster gets a year of experience under their belt I think we are in for a great ride as fans. That said, I'm normally very optimistic for basketball.

IMO, Fran was/is being proactive in his recruiting in response to the shot clock change. Very athletic team for now and the future. I really don't see any plodders on this team.

Has there ever been a more athletic Iowa roster? I'm not asking if it's the best as far as wins go but is it the most athletic?

Isn't Pemsl 6'10 and 245 per the Wahlert roster?;)

a lot of talent, but I don't see Jok being a great leader, and a lot of growing pains to face with this team.

I like that roster. Better athleticism for the most part from the top to the bottom. Average Kriener, Cook, Pemsl and Uhl and you'll be close to their real heights. They are all 6-9, give or take a quarter inch. And Bohannon plays taller than his 6-0 or 6-1 with his shoes on. It's not their height. It's how they play.

I think you will be surprised. He's really matured during his time at Iowa and he is the guy Fran uses to show new recruits around. That shows me Fran trusts him. I also think Jok will be a tremendous scorer before he is done, he has the mentality.

2016 will have better athleticism than 2015. Jok may not be as good a go-to as JU, White, RDM, but we'll have more scoring options. The thing I worry about in 2016 is experience at the point. IF Williams/GB make PG a stable position for us, 2016 could be another step forward, but that's a big IF. More likely, we'll be dangerous in 2016 and better in 2017.

Lot of mid size players and athleticism. But who will be a) the leaders and b) the stars?+Who on the roster will rise to fill those big roles? All up in the air at this point.
