FOX Sports South takes a whimsical and subjective look at the NFL's 20 biggest busts in free agency since 1993 -- the league's first year of modern-day, unrestricted free agency. This gallery represents a combination review of history's most ineffectual contracts, while condemning the short-sighted clubs which continually make disastrous decisions with established, but fleeting veterans. One more thing: It's easier to quantify a playmaker's impact with a team (or lack thereof), compared to his brethren along the offensive and defensive lines. That aside, the seven receivers featured here certainly merit spots in this countdown.

Do Free Agent resignings count? Because this was the worst thing to happen to RC and the Eagles. He got a new $4 million a year contract (that was a lot back then) and he went to shit.

Had a good career with the Vikes though.

Those photos are so confusing. Why is Matt Stafford opposite Scott Mitchell? Why is Darrell Revis on the Sean Gilbert page...because he is his nephew?
