That would likely be our best lineup. But I don't think Kem is big enough to fill 184. IMO, too much more bulk would be detrimental to his wrestling.

I think he could do it and win 184. It was really impressive how well he transitioned from 157 to 174 and he has been at that weight for a few years. Look at Dake. He did 4 weights in 4 years, 141 - 165 then won US Opens at 86 kg (190 lbs) 2 years later.
Certainly a fair take. Kem is an elite wrestler. I would be happy to be proven wrong, but I think it's all just speculative. It appears Kem is our 174 for one more year.
I agree, it won't happen. But I do think it is the lineup with that gives us the best opportunity to score points at NCAAs. I like Kemerer's chances vs Brooks/Amine more than a healthy Lewis.
Kem is the best 174 in the country. He let Starocci stall and paid the price. Kennedy is not a 174 lber. A healthy Assad who is a full fledged 184 lber Is our best bet for the most points in conjunction with Kem, IMO.
