A thank you to Kirk Ferentz, his staff and the Iowa players

This has been an enjoyable football season and I never dreamed that Iowa would have gotten this far given last year's season ending. What a difference good leadership makes in creating a healthy environment. Iowa may not land the most heralded football athletes but find young men who have good work ethics, character, and sound family support. Iowa's team shows up every week and gives their best effort. Not every game goes as the prognosticators/talking heads of the media believe they should conclude, but Iowa's conditioning and mental toughness has carried them a long way. CJ Beathard proves that if a team has a good leader who not only has skills but exudes confidence in his co-workers, successful improvements can be made with so-called average talents. Beathard beats Rudock any day of the week.

Take a look around at Illinois, Nebraska, Purdue, and Iowa State and you see some jealousy for what Iowa has going.

A shout out to the grounds crew who did an excellent job removing snow from the field.

After the spring game everyone was saying we would win 5 games and this was the worst OL in Iowa history. lol

I concur with what you are saying but lets also give a shout out all Hail Kinnick and the workers who work hard through stressful situations to make our game days enjoyable. And a thank you to all Hawkeye fans.

I would like to thank HROT for if we had not spoken up in how the team should be KF never would have made the needed changes.
KF puts a lot of stock into this board as he knows we are the most intelligent and steadfast fans.
