I'm coming up from NW Iowa Saturday morning with 17 people on a party bus for both the wrestling and football. We are planning on getting to Iowa City around 930 or so. I've been to lots of games before, but always with a car so I never had a issue with where to park. So where would be a good place to park the bus? Don't care what the cost is. We have a place to tailgate by Carver, so just a place to park. Thanks

The hard surface lot on Melrose by the Finkbine driving range. Not sure the cost, maybe 40 bucks

Thanks, is that pretty easy to get out of after the game or will it take a while? I'm sure we will have to wait a little while.

There will be a wait everywhere, but thats probably one of the best locations to get out of IC. Get back on Melrose and a couple miles to 380.

For parking an RV you're definitely going to want to call the University of Iowa Parking & Transportation office. Just because RVs park in a location, doesn't mean it's public. They can tell you exactly where public RVs can park and where they cannot.

This will save you a lot of hassle for when you pull your RV into a location and can't back it out because there is a huge line behind you.

Might want to consider Hancher lot. Numerous RV park in there. Bit of a walk but fairly easy to get to Dubuque St and interstate too.

All good ideas. Thanks guys. Where's Hancher Lot? Is it east of the river? I'll give the university a call also.

Getting "out" tonight after the football game will not be fun. Are they still pushing the no-tailgating-after-night-games rule? In my experience everybody pretty much leaves immediately, which is the worst possible thing for getting out of town.

Hancher lot: http://transportation.uiowa.edu/files/transportation.uiowa.edu/files/ParkingMap.pdf It is the purple one northeast of the stadium, but it is still west of the river. If you drive in Dubuque street it is the first bridge you can cross to the west.

Here's the 2015 gameday info: http://www.footballgameday.com/
