Always a much bigger Bon Scott era fan (aside from BiB the Scott albums were all stronger than most all BJ material), but there are enough good Brian Johnson songs that fit in with the Scott classics to push them into my top 10.

Much like Van Halen, ACDC broke big when I was in high school, and were considered by my classmates and friends as OUR band and not my older brother's and sister's bands.

Most people would select Bon Scott over Brian Johnson. Whether that is based on merit or sentimentality is debatable. Personally, I actually think that they are really close with a slight lean to Bon Scott, but for most people the original will always be the coolest.

Its almost impossible for a band to lose its lead singer and continue to create great music while maintaining its popularity. The fact that people even think think that's its worthy to debate whether Bon Scott or Brian Johnson is better is a tremendous statement on just how good of a replacement Brian Johnson turned out to be. You could separate the two versions of AC/DC into two different bands and I'd put both in my top 20 all-time. That's how great they are.

Not Top 20, but at their best they were a fun band to listen to.
