Iowa
Iowa at Virginia Tech
Northwestern at Georgia Tech
Duke at Indiana
Notre Dame at Michigan State
Miami at Minnesota
Penn State at NC State
Boston College at Nebraska
Michigan at North Carolina
Clemson at Ohio State
Louisville at Purdue
Florida State at Rutgers
Maryland at Syracuse
Wisconsin at Virginia
Illinois at Wake Forest

Iowa's matchup seems about right considering expectations. Va Tech is seen as a tournament team, but a road win is not out of the question.

This sets up an interesting 2-3 week stretch for Iowa. They'll likely play Cincinnati in the final holiday tournament game. Next would be at Va Tech, the home and away B1G games, and at Iowa State. Hopefully we'll be ready early.

Agree that the potential Cincinnati, VTU, ISU stretch will be the highlight of the preseason. But I like to think our core players will be ready for it.

Duke will demolish Indiana this year. Their starters could probably hit the showers at the half.

Indiana draws Duke? What? An NIT team that loses everyone gets that draw?

It was a bit curious to be sure. Although Indiana is capable of beating most anyone at home regardless of the talent level the Hoosiers have. I see Big 10 teams being clear favorites in only 2 of those matchups -- MSU and Minnesota in their games at home.

Iowa will certainly be challenged in the non-conference next year.

Would love to know how Iowa has been chosen to be the road team so often in the last few years. This will make four out of the last 6 years that they have played on the road. Doesn't really seem all that fair. Just sayin.

VT will be very tough on their home court BUT I feel like this young Iowa team is very strong and certainly capable of winning. Can't wait for the season!

We should not suffer from a weak schedule with all those neutral and away games.

According to Wikipedia.....Iowa has played in the tournament 16 times.

They have played 7 games at home.
They have played 7 games on the road.

Indiana has a roster full of top 100 recruits and a more competent coach + a jacked up Assembly Hall.

No picnic for Duke.

The hot young coach is still an over-rated asset. But in Indiana's case I do believe they've got a good one. A very good one and I love his choices of assistants. Kind of an interesting year with Illinois, Indiana and Ohio State all sporting new guys. My predictions:

Illinois. Cheaters! We just got cheaters in the Big Ten again. Blast it, I hope they don't screw up Iowa like Minnesota did before they got caught.
Indiana. Super good pick and I suspect they will be a top tier program CONSISTENTLY in the Big Ten.
Ohio State. Hail all mighty Butler! I am NOT sure this is going to work...but there's a chance. The bar is set at top ten in the nation levels.

After making NCAA tourney for 1st time and bringing bulk of the roster back thought N'Western would get a better or bigger match up than Ga Tech. Personally think they'd be better than Indiana vs Duke. Plus could have Collins vs his alma mater and mentor in Coach K.

Most of those guys still have to learn how to play together. They weren't cohesive last season.

Also, what kind of frontcourt depth does IU have after De'Ron Davis and Juwan Morgan: just Freddie McSwain and Tim Priller?

You have to bring facts into this?
