I would have added Buddy Hackett but I just saw he played a bad dad in the Rifleman.
I wish there was a better way to see some of these movies. The Thin Man pairing of Powell and Loy is excellent. I’ve only been able to watch two of them.
TCM is running them (all. 6 of them) this NY Eve I believe (12/31) starting at 0800 hrs…Starting with “The Thin Man and ending at 1900 hrs. W/ “Song of the Thin Man”….Enjoy!
I was thinking about Judd Hirsch. He's seemingly played the same guy for the last 20 years, but then I looked at his bio and remembered Taxi. When I looked at that cast I saw Christopher Lloyd, an he's been playing Jim Ignatowski for 40+ years.
I enjoyed that series. I would rank it #2 behind #1.
Vaughn was also good in Brawl in Cell Block 99. If anyone is playing the same role it's Don Johnson has a bad guy.
I believe he was mentioned once in this thread, but out of boredom watched The Beekeeper with Jason Statham last night. He most definitely belongs near the top of this list.

Never seen, will keep an eye out....also thought he was a below average actor relying on romcoms to work. The Gentleman showed me he has above average talent, which now he has to tap into due to age and his questionable sexual proclivities and lack of discretion/ judgement connected to those has made the well run dry. So now he can't waste opportunities.
That's my thesis on it anyway
Edit: it's one thing to get a prostitute (which doesn't bother me, it should be legal) and another getting a $50 street walker? But he should have immediately been Baker Acted for cheating on Elizabeth Hurley with a $50 street walker...that was not a sane man and we just got lucky the crazy thought that he decided to act on was I wonder if that street walker mouths feels better than my wife ELIZABETH HURLEY. And even if did, just the idea that it Elizabeth Hurley sucking your dick ALWAYS makes it the preferred option.
