Call me crazy. But he is probably leaving NE after this season. Why not trot him across the Missouri and over to IA City for his last year. Would be nice to have a mobile QB. He was a preseason Heisman candidate last year. KOK can scrape the rust off and give him some confidence. Plus, you watch him patting IA players on the back after every tackle, says all the right things in press conferences. Would give Deuce another year to develop.
I really really really want Petras to be good.... but accuracy is hard to coach. Don't wanna get too down on the kid and I hope he can turn it around.
