…the wife found a deal on Caress. Holy hell. That was the slimiest shower I’ve ever taken. Look…after 30 years, let’s not go reinventing the wheel here.

It really is amazing how you can tell the difference in something like that after only using one kind for decades.

FWIW, I've been using this stuff for ~the last 6 months and I like it a lot so far:

I use dove body wash in the winter months as it does keep my skin from drying out. During the other times of the year it’s up for grabs. Sometimes I feel like going for something cheap, sometimes I like the way something smells and other times it’s just something that caught my eye.

I’m surprised how many people seem to use bar soap. But then again this board is full of old people and I feel like bar soap is an old person thing.

My wife(no pic) picked up some old spice body wash for me, probably on sale. Holy shit, that stuff stings the nostrils

I’m an old person and there’s nothing wrong with bar soap. Not a damn thing. Especially for underarms and hind end.
I do keep either Dove or Olay body wash around for a mild moisturizing effect but if you have dry skin and you’re a woman you step out of the shower and use a good body lotion anyway.

I bought a few of those cause they smelled good and because one of the scents was part of a win a Ford Bronco. Didn’t win but enjoyed the smell.

We left NY when I was 10 months old, so 1950.

Please tell me you didn’t pay full price for the SmartAss Correspondence Course?

You could be entitled to a refund…😏

Listen, they can't all be home runs. Sometimes you get a swinging bunt single.

A friend of mine who makes periodic trips to Jerusalem brings me a couple bars of homemade olive oil soap each time. You can find several different American brands on Amazon, but this is my favorite. A little pricey (almost $3/bar), but the bars are full bars and don't have that "curve" on the back (like Dial, and others) so they last longer. The bar itself smells like Play Dough, but it leaves no scent on your skin. Also leaves you feeling hydrated but not oily.
