Watched both Gopher games vs michiagan and OSU. They are quite a bit better than people give them credit for. THis will not be an easy win. They are much better than I thought they were. Its going to be a touch game.

Well, since we play tackle, we should be fine, right? That wouldn't turn out too well for them.

Did you watch them against Nebraska and NW?

I watched both games as well and I came away thinking Ohio State just plain isn't playing all that great at the moment and let Minnesota hang around. It was 21-0 at the start of the 4th I believe and looked like OSU checked out which made for a game. I think we come out and put a hurtin on them and win big.

Michigan was an emotional post-Coach Kill game

OSU just isn't that great with Jones leading the offense, which he won't do anymore.

I think Minnesota has invested a ton emotionally in the last two games. They're beat up from two physical ball games and they're ripe for a letdown coming into Whst will be an electric atmosphere in Kinnick. I really think this sets up for an impressive blowout win for the hawks.

Well, the CB Myrick (leads team with 3 picks) is out. They already were without another corner and two safeties.

Ther defensive backfield from what I recall was their defense's best strength coming into this year. They are still highly ranked in that department though - but are average decent against the run.

Offensively, they barely averaged a yard per carry against OSU...not exactly known as a stout run defense. Leitner is passing better than he ever has his entire career...but I wouldn't really call him a great passer yet.

They are still very offensively challenged.

They'll be physical...but after two incredibly tough physical and probably emotional games - and given the injuries and offensive issues - one has to wonder just how much they have in the tank come Saturday.

Come out focused, come out energized, play a full 60, Iowa wins comfortably.
