In all seriousness, addiction in all its forms is a serious problem and not to be discussed lightly.
That being said, what is up with every single commercial break having an Addiction Network commercial? I am starting to think I have a problem and I need to come clean with after watching the WF/TAMU game and now KY/NU game.
I saw a Dateline report a couple years ago stating that some of these "Treatment" centers are purely fronts to sell drugs to addicts. They put on a good face to get people to travel cross country away from friends/family and stay with them in their "center". Once in, they put them in a halfway house and then enable local dealers access to them. They get to bill insurance and collect for doing nothing. Vicious cycle. Plus, the 20 year old in the commercial does not play a very convincing doctor (terrible TV side manner).
Can we get a Chik Fil'A commercial or how about a car commercial?
