It seems as though Ahmad is progressing in his offensive game. He has figured out that if he is aggressive going to the basket he will most likely get a dunk and a foul. Hopefully his confidence continues to grow so that he takes full advantage of his abilities.

Seems to be one of our best interior defenders.

Would like to see him develop a left hand so he's not so predictable always going right. But yes, keep going hard to the rack.

Wagner reminds me of James Winters. Not a polished game offensively, but works hard and gives maximum effort. His first step might be the quickest on the team and he is gaining confidence in his ability to finish. If he can develop a mid-range game and shoot 70% from the line, he will be a major contributor his junior and senior seasons. With his hops and strength, he should go to the rim looking to dunk every time.

Funny. A couple weeks ago, people were saying Wagner and Uhl need to transfer. Now.....".

they are silent...

Wagner is one of those guys that 'makes' a team a team. He is in it to do what he can to help his team win. I don't know how much better he will get but whatever it is .. I like his attitude & his quickness. He seems to be a little more confident in looking to score but it isn't that he needs to in order for the team to win. But it does seem he is getting better realizing when he has a mismatch. IMO because of experience..Wagner is a better interior defender than Cook or Pemsl.

His free throw % has not improved (47%)...in close games -- he is on the bench..then again we have a couple of others (Pemsl 52%)..(Cook 60%) who are not exactly on fire.
I'm not a FT expert but it seems they have decent form...

Defense is better with Wagner on the court. He and Baer bring an intensity that seems to make the other guys also play with energy. I hope that Pete brings that energy when he starts playing again.

All of the bigs, except maybe Uhl, need to work on FTs, or it will cost us wins.

Wagner's energy and enthusiasm is difficult to match.
His body build enables him to be a force under the
bucket. Hopefully, he becomes a rebound leader and
an offensive threat each game.

His touch has gotten a little better around the rim, bunnies seem to be falling a little better for him.

I like his game. He is a role player and belongs in the rotation. When the game is on the line and FTs matter, he sits.

I've always looked at Ahmad as being a Jarryd Cole type player. grab boards, play defense, score here and there. There were games early on where he looked lost and lost some PT but he looks aggressive and confident of late
