Caught up with Iowa commit Amani Jones for a quick update on his official visit to Iowa City this weekend. Jones said everything went great. He spent a lot of time with his host, Aaron Mends, and got to know some of the current players at Iowa. He also said he loves new linebackers coach, Seth Wallace, and enjoyed sitting down and talking with him about things.
When I asked Jones what he has planned for signing day this week, he said just get a haircut and signing with Iowa.
Later, he added they are probably doing a big signing day ceremony at Chicago Phillips on Wednesday.
