LOL! You obviously know very little about the game of golf.

Yes, his days of being a dominant force are over, and he's missed a lot of time due to his back surgeries, but he's a factor when healthy, and will be again after rehab. He's Tiger Freaking Woods.
You say that like it’s an insult LOL.
His days of being Lebron James on the course are over...

This country has a lot more serious problems than Tiger's injury. The news coverage is just a symptom of it. This used to be THE "can do" country. Now it's all we can do to keep the lights on.

Yeah, I would say the past 40 years of shrinking the government that helps Americans while expanding corporate welfare and defense spending has been more disastrous for America than social media et al. I also think social media would be less toxic if education budgets hadn't been continuously cut and limits in advancement of education due to partisan politics. We have a lot if idiots who can't tell the difference between facts and opinions and actually celebrate their stupidity and ignorance like they are badges of honor.

So I would say the dumbing down of America started with the schools having their budgets gutted, low pay for teachers relative to the work they are trying to do, and lower incomes for working class families preventing non-scholastic education opportunities. That sets up many people to be easily duped by talk radio, Faux News, InfoWars and the like, and social media. It's sad, but the people susceptible to that stuff also don't have the knowledge, awareness, or maturity to defend themselves so I'm not sure how responsible they are for their own limitations given the institutional failures to educate and provide a livable wage for those without college degrees.

So that's the problem: too many people easily duped into voting against their own best interests by people who benefit from their continued ignorance and relative poverty.

Tiger at 45 is more than not done with major winning golf vs the youth of today after this accident where he has a compound fracture and crushed ankle. He will be lucky to walk without a limp in the foreseeable future. Look for him to move to the Senior tour once he turns 50 as it will take him a couple years to recover from this. Honestly, he is lucky to be alive.
Kinda dumb.

But you seem to believe it was important enough to post it on a Hawkeye Basketball Forum! Talk about hypocrisy! .

East Daddy, I agree but let’s not be mean on this board the good lord is watching over all your posts sensing if you’ve been naughty or nice ... so let’s keep it clean here (jk) whole heartedly agree

Tiger Woods rolls a car....8 phuquin’ hours later we are still having press conferences. The guy is gonna live...he is in surgery...and yet America acts as though ( abs speculated accordingly) its very future depends on the outcome.
Come on folks...if Tiger was impaired, it’s gonna come out sometime. The extent of the surgery will be announced later. Was he going too fast? We will find out..it’s a friggin’ car accident! We have thousnds of them daily in America. Let the insurance companies figure it out...and Tiger and his agent, too.
Boyz...I’m betting Tiger ain’t playing any more golf this year! ;) Any takers?

Tiger is more than a sports figure. He is a celebrity! Nothing is more important than celebrity news.
