So now that school has said that they will accept the invite, what is Reese going to do? She said she isn't going, and she said what she said.
Your narrative is wrong. She is far from a ghetto girl. She was raised in a family of basketball athletes who were affluent enough to send her to a private Catholic school with outstanding sports programs. She was very involved in ballet, swimming, and track. Started being recruited to Maryland in 9th grade, honor roll student at that private school, and a McDonalds All American. At Maryland she suffered a foot injury as a freshman and missed a good portion of the season. Had a decent sophomore year, but realized she was on a team. Entered the portal and looked hard at South Carolina, but she was just another five star athlete with the Gamecocks. Enter LSU and Mulkey with her large personality and Reese was the top player of the 9 transfers to LSU. She immediately went to work creating her narrative and personality at LSU to go along with great basketball skills.
People need to realize she is gaming the system the whole way looking to get into broadcasting after her basketball career is over. Like it or not she knows exactly what buttons she is pushing and the rich LSU donors love her. She has superbly marketed herself at LSU and in the SEC conference.
This is not an endorsement of her in anyway as I could care less about her or LSU. She is just what a certain part of our cultures wants front and center.

I totally agree with you, but that is why I make the point she's not. Fame comes from those arose from the bottom stories as it does from the silver spoon stories. The media has shied away from telling hers because they want you to believe the ghetto part.

Good points. What we don't know is whether anyone is trying to do so privately rather than publicly through the media. I would be surprised if no one has. Reece has already backed down a bit, saying she isn't sure if she'll go to the White House rather than outright rejecting it. She now knows she's only speaking for herself rather than for her team.
Alexis Miller I think is the one that played under Mulkey at Baylor.
