Is this like when one buffet-style restaurant has a disease outbreak, causing people to die, and suddenly, the media starts reporting on similar cases nationwide? In reality, these incidents always happen, but now the media is synced up, pushing the coverage to generate clicks and scare the bejesus out of everyone.
When you explain stuff to the numpties, you either have to "dumb it down" or clearly state it is sarcasm.

Most like to party... At least all the ones that aren't ex-miltary. One of my best friends is a pilot for one of the majors. His wedding was a weekend of debauchery... I was just at his place for a party on St Patrick's Day weekend in Chicago. I think every domestic airline was represented pounding beers on the deck like a college kegger.... The only one I can think of not represented was Allegiant, lol.
At least that one went straight down and didn't drag along the ground for 200 yards like Kobe did.
I just bought a 6er of TG cybersue brah. Bought to pound that tonight before capping with some cedar ridge bourbon. Don’t @ me.
Also my god the media is fugging dramatic. Planes constantly clip wings moving around on the ground, especially at tight airports. Probably happens once a week. Over the top hysterics over nothing.
That helicopter though….**** that. Reason why I haven’t touched a helicopter since I was 17.
Guessing gearbox failure that became so violent from the shaking sheered the rear rotor and tail section off.

Yeah, the vid I saw it didn't have a tail, and I saw no sign of a main rotor. Assuming it just catastrophically came apart in midair?
I wonder if the main rotor severed the tail when it separated from the helicopter?

Likely the best 2 helicopters on the planet, with the best 2 military pilots, in good nighttime conditions, flew in to get Bin Laden and only 1 made it back.
Compare that to some tourist trap helicopter.
