Another Hawkeye Highlight Video

I know a ton of people make these videos and a lot of them do a really nice job. Certainly much better than what I can do. I just use iMovie and I've made like 3 videos. However, this 10-0 start really inspired me to just give it a shot and this is what I came up with. Hope you all enjoy it.

Also new to actually posting on these boards. I've been a long time lurker but looking to get more involved as I love a lot of the conversation that goes on here.

Can't wait to be in Kinnick in the snow Saturday to watch the Hawks secure a spot in Indy.

reddevil - props to you - that's great and I certainly don't know how to do that. My only suggestion - I love it when the videos include the "big calls" by Dolph and Eddie. TD - Iowa - etc.

Thanks for the feedback elipse. I completely agree with you on having the commentary in the videos. Especially when Dolph and Eddie give such great calls of big plays. The only reason I decided not to go that route is most other people include that in their videos, so I thought I'd try something different. But I absolutely hear what you are saying.

Fantastic video and great music to go along with it. Love the IC shots in the beginning. Also great inclusion of the Minny game entrance to the field; that was awesome!. BTN has done a tremendous job of showcasing us this year and their game coverage is getting better and better by the year. Imagine having to deal only with ESPN?

td77 I completely agree on the BTN coverage. I thought their extended coverage in IC last weekend was phenomenal. Thanks so much for the feedback on the video.

I can watch that throw to McCarron against Iowa state again and again. I don't think people even realize how big time that was. That was an incredibly hard throw and Beathard threw it perfectly. Absolute thing of beauty.

Yeah - I forgot to mention. Love the Iowa City shots - because most videos are only of Kinnick etc. And the tunnel walk is awesome!

I think one cool idea would be to "cut" the music on the tunnel walk to complete silence(because that's kind of how I imagine it is ... the players are completely focused and not saying anything?) Or maybe - change the music for the tunnel walk to something different from the rest of the track?

Really good suggestions. Can always use the ideas for future videos. Now that I have one under my belt I am starting to get ideas for other videos I want to make. I really wanted to make a Paul Krause - Desmond King kind of comparison video but I searched and searched and couldn't find any footage of Krause during his time at Iowa.

God I used to love the Scotthawk videos when I was a student at Iowa from 04-08. Some amazing games in those years and some fantastic videos. I honestly remember not being able to take the wait for his 2005 Capital One video. It was so epic!!
