Is accused of roughing up a woman. Trend? Who knows. This story might be a non-issue. I guess I'd like to know who the witnesses in the car were. If they were Elliot's home boys, wouldn't surprise me in the least they'd say nothing happened.

Bruises on the arms, especially wrists, are tricky. Could mean he was man-handling her. Could also mean she tried to hit/slap him and he grabbed her arm (which is exactly what you should do - defend yourself without hitting). No judgment from me either way on this one without more details.
