Any chance Peter Jok

Jok wouldn't be drafted, so I hope for his sake he doesn't declare. He is a spot up shooter at this point. He has been much more aggressive the last few games putting the ball on the floor and has gotten the benefit of some whistles but he isn't driving by or finishing against NBA talent. There are a lot of 6'6" guys that's can shoot in the NBDL and overseas. His defense has come along ways at the college level but would be a huge liability in the NBA. He's a great college player though.

Just. Cause you get drafted doesn't mean that you will be on an NBA rotation. Sam Dekker went outside the lottery, like 19tg and a second rounder and undraftes free agent are playing more than he is on the rockets.

Do you think those guys might be playing more because Dekker has been out since November after having back surgery?

Jok was not a unknown. after 8th grade people were talking about him, after his HS FR year all the blue Bloods, Kansas, Duke, UNC and Kentucky had offered him, he was rated the #1 player in his class by NY2LA, 3rd by ESPN and top 5 by everybody else,

after his SO season he had knee surgery and the blue bloods backed off,, only Fran stayed with him and he signed his LOI in November of his SR year and he went on to be named Mr.BB in IA Joining these with that honor
Lafrentz, Collison, Barnes, Paige, and Uthoff.

this summer after the PTL games were over he said he was back to 100% and felt better than he did after his HS FR year, we are seeing what he was doing before that knee surgery.

the recruiting raters said he was on pace to be the best player to come out of IA.

will he go pro I doubt it has he wants his degree so does his mother so he can return to Africa as either a Diplomat or be a part of his former countries government.

I think you missed on a couple points here. It was prior to his HS Freshman season that Pete got the NY2LA #1 ranking (right after the AAU season), and while Duke and Kansas were recruiting him I don't think he ever held formal offers from any of the blue bloods you mentioned (he did have offers from Illinois, Marquette, and a handful of other schools). Also if you don't think Pete's dream is to play in the NBA, you're simply wrong on that one.

In the preseason before he had back surgery Montrezl Harrell a second round pick and KJ McDaniels an undraftes free agent were playing much more than Sam Dekker was.
