Anybody ever cut their foot on coral?

I cut my foot while snorkeling in the Dominican. Went to the doctor on the resort and they gave me penicillin and some cream. Any idea how long it will take to heal?

For the first time in his life, Lone Clone is correct. If it would have been coral from any other part of the world you would have been fine; but Dominican coral is bad news. It is eerie how you chose that particular handle for this board. Good luck.

Mrs. LC stepped on a sea urchin at Bonaire once. She was advised to pee on it. This is pretty standard first aid.

With coral, though, you can just kiss your sorry ass goodbye. Nothing will help. And it's s particularly painful death.
