Anybody get a picture of the Kinnick cell phone light stunt?

Looked pretty cool, but had a crappy stream online that kept cutting out. Would appreciate if someone would post a picture.

Super cool thing that sorta organically happened. I remember seeing a couple people having their cell phone lights on the media time out before, then on the next one it grew and grew, very cool to be a part of.

Did we just start a thing last night? I know this is common at concerts, but I've never seen it at a sports event... has anyone else?

It was a cool spontaneous thing. Just a few at first and then it kept growing and growing.

Would've been cool had we been the trendsetters on this but it has recently been done at Aggies games, LSU and the MLB playoffs among others. What I thought made this one unique and stood out more was just due to the contrast against the blackout. It looked great!

Yes fans started this when they started playing Biggie's "Hypnotize" on a tv timeout. This was not planned by the U at all.
It was awesome. Hope we have more night games and ditch sweet Caroline for this after 3rd quarter.

(Sweet Caroline sucks )

They showed it on TV and it looked cool, but after watching the video posted here I'm really surprised that they played that song. Yeah it's almost 20 years old, but it has some pretty adult lyrics. It cut out right before "your daughter's tied up in a Brooklyn basement." I'm also pretty sure that I heard an uncensored T & A.

Wouldn't be shocked to hear about a bunch of complaints from people that had kids at the game with them. I've had that album since '97 and I'm not sure that I'm comfortable with them playing it at college sporting events.

Come on man. Don't be that guy.

It certainly didn't seem like anyone was uncomfortable with it.

I wondered the same thing. I've never seen it either. Plus the blackout set it off big time.

Very Cool and it should be something we do all the time now. Its Ours and we should own it. You will see other fan base copy this now. Would be awesome to have everyone do that at the same time. Like the end of the 3rd Quarter when everyone is holding their 4 fingers up. Loved it!

You need this type of environment though to pull it off. Blacked out crowd, night game obviously, and a signature song. I agree, we should make this a thing, but it will be rare for it to happen. The black out really helped to make it stand out.

It was really cool to see in person. Pics don't do it justice. Fun to watch it grow and spread.
I hate Rap with a passion (I'm assuming it was some Rap tune - I know it wasn't The Stones....), and had no idea whose song it was, but even for an old "fuddy-duddy" type like me, I thought it was extremely cool.

Don't ruin it. They just quit playing "Call Me Maybe"
