You tell me, take a tongue like this, an appetite for peanut butter and a little imagination, there's no way you won't like dogs. (This is what my cousin says.)

I've gone through cleaning up crap (yes that crap) with three kids and now that they are out of diapers there is no way i am going to go back to picking cleaning up crap.

Also, you ever walk into a house w an animal (non-fish), you can smell and feel the animal lifestyle these people have become nose-blind to (yeah your house air breaths heavy animal lovers) and it is gross IMO.

Also people who have a dog and leave them home all day alone or have only a small yard for them are asshole owners IMO. These are not people, they need to be outside and they need ample room to roam. I feel bad for a lot of animals who have clueless owners.

You should join PETA.

A friggin men. Dogs need to run. Exercise is one of their most important needs, especially larger dogs. Dog owners that treat them like stuffed animals should be executed.

I don't hate them by any means, but I'm not a dog person at all. I would say I'm apathetic to dogs.

I'm truly rustled by a fairly significant number of dog owners, however.

My wife and I are dog people. One dog. Seldom left alone. Runs like hell. Owns our house. Makes our house a true home now that we have no kids. She's a lucky girl I might add. (And our house does not smell unless my wife has gas.)

I don't trust cats. I'm not sure that you could say I hate them, but I don't trust them.

My aunt had a cat and I was over at her house once. That cat was constantly rubbing up against my leg. I thought, perhaps ignorantly that he wanted to be friends with me. So I reached down to try and pet him and every time I did that he turned around, showed his teeth and hissed at me like he was ready to bite me.

That's the most obvious experience but there are others that have just convinced me that you can't really understand a cat's intentions and I just don't trust them.

At least with dogs from my experience you can get a fairly good idea of if they want to be friends with you or not. Dogs do not typically go from say trying to lick your hand to threatening to rip your hand to shreds in a half a second.

I don't hate cats. Just never had them growing up. They're not my thing. But I certainly understand why people like them.

I like both as well. I just lean more toward dogs.

I grew up on a farm and had both dogs and cats. Now that I live in town I can't imagine keeping a dog inside all the time or even confined to a smallish yard. Plus I travel a ton for work and a fair amount for personal as well, so unfortunately a dog just doesn't work for me. I love dogs, but a cat is just easier to have for me personally.

But I'll never understand what's so manly about being cruel to animals. Nothing says 'I'm insecure in my manhood' to me more than guys who brag about killing or abusing cats.

I don't like dogs. Not big on cats either. But I found a pretty simple way to deal with it...I don't own either. Seems to work well. Although the the people that brought barking purse dogs from CR Orlando are SOTE. You bring barking dogs to an airport and you are infringing on my right to only be moderately irritated. Instead I was pretty pissed.

Just curious :)

Why?

Not a fan of cats. My father in law had a nuisance cat that crawled up under this plastic shield thing on top of my peugot long ago. This wasn't for warmth or anything, just to be an A hole cat. Always did that. I was driving out of his lane one day and heading up the road and the cat slipped down from the roof of the car and I gassed it to about 60. Off flying went the cat into the ditch, never to be seen again.

Def a cat person, but I'd be hard pressed to find any animal on this big blue world that I don't like and respect.

...except mosquitos. F*ck mosquitos and I hope the scientific efforts to wipe out several species materialize.

Mosquitos serve a purpose, too. If not for mosquitos any number of vile diseases would disappear.

I have a cat that acts like a dog.
We got 2 kittens in July, and I'd say they act more like dogs too. I grew up with farm cats, we'd have anywhere from a few to a few dozen, and they were the friendliest pets you could imagine.

These cats we have now follow us around wherever we go and love attention. They'll take my sons' socks, toys, crayons, etc. and carry them around, hide them, then put them in my shoes a few days later. They're very quirky and fun. And now I sound like crazy pet person, damn...

I hate dogs. They are way too intrusive. I'm not interested in getting jumped all over as soon as I enter the room.
