Sorry to hear all this Cheeselog.
Going through something similar with my brother but not with drugs. His behavior has changed since 2020. I think he hit a midlife crisis and didn't like his life anymore so he changed.
He wasn't in good shape physically so he started working out and losing weight and also began to drink more during the day while working from home and hitting the hard liquors where he used to just drink mainly beer.
I'm 3 hours away so I didn't see much of it but he posted on FB a lot about working out which was annoying to some. Fast forward he cheated on his wife for several years with several women. Just left his wife for another woman, but still wants relationship with his children.
Basically 4+ years of lying to everyone. I haven't spoken to him since he left his family this summer. I don't plan to talk with him until he approaches me and even then I don't know what I'll do or say or what to believe since his life is one big lie.
It really stinks having a family member act this way and put everyone in a difficult position. We all care about him but his actions make us believe he doesn't care about us and more importantly care about a great woman in his wife and 2 great kids.
