What's the mileage.

I shipped one ~5+ yrs ago from Maquoketa, IA to Louisville,CO and it cost $600 or so.
As many shippers are slow and looking for work, I'd expect you could find a similar deal.

That was 850-900 miles.

The problem I see is fitting the car on the scale that determines how much shipping would be.

Could be around a grand. There are options you can choose that will affect the price. You can pay extra to have the car shipped inside an enclosed trailer.

I have used uShip twice. Once to have a boat we inherited pulled from MI to SC, about $800. Another time to have a piece of furniture moved from MI to SC, about $300. Both experiences were great. No issues. They will move cars for you. People will bid on your job. I recommend checking it out.

Back when I was young and didn’t have a car, I would call a Drive-A-Way company and they would line me and my friends up with a car. Usually going from Chicago to California Bay Area.
Once 5 of us long hairs got a very nice Cadillac. We went through Las Vegas. My younger brother, (who later became an Air Force Chaplin), had a goofy hat and acted as our chauffeur.
He would drive us to the main entrance of a big casino, get out and open the doors for us and we would stumble out, and go into the Casino, much to the dismay of any onlookers.

All we had to do is pay for our gas And get the vehicle to it’s destination in about a week.

bought my last car this way and had it shipped to me from TN. Cost was $800 if I recall. Used a company called Executive Auto Shippers, which was based out of Monroe IA.

went extremely smoothly. wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

I used Blue-collar shippers and didn't have nearly as good an experience. I shouldn't have agreed to pay by the hour.

I’ve had a dealership ship a few cars between Minneapolis and California. But I’ve done a lot of business with them.

About 1,100 miles

$.60 a Mike is a decent starting point.

sometimes it may be cheaper to fly someone out there to drive back, if your local airport has direct flights to the pick up city.

Best bet is to fly someone on Allegiant through one of the FL airports to Concord, NH. Those flights are all pretty inexpensive right now. Drive back is 2 days (I've made it in a single day a few times, but it sucks).

$200 for airfare. Then pay a flat fee for the driver and that person can make their own choices on where to stay, etc. I'd say $600 as it would take 3 days...one day of air travel and 2 days of driving.

yup that’s how we’ve done it. Although the flight has to be really cheap to make it work, otherwise you won’t have enough to pay the driver ($20 per hour min) to drive back. Plus they will have to Uber from the airport to pickup spot unless there is someone there to help. Then if its over 12 hours you may might to add in a hotel stay. It adds up quickly.

That's why I said pay the dude $200 per day....they can make their own decisions from there. I've done it a few times for people and that is what has worked for me.
