Appeals Court Upholds TX Porn Age Verification Law

I'm not sure why this is even controversial

Because people don't want their identity tied to porn and sitting in a database with user activity that is just waiting to get compromised and leaked. They also just shutdown a sextortion hacker group that managed to collect around a quarter billion dollars, so it is a lucrative industry.

Can we just all admit we beat off to porn? Didn’t we go though this in high school

It's controversial because it means adults have to disclose their identities and sexual kinks and porn perversions in order to get "verified," and then wait to see how long it takes for that info to get hacked, sold, released, blackmailed, etc.
Exactly. My history is rich, varied, and shameful. I need it kept secret at all costs.

You beat me but I was going to say Make America Gape Again. I was also considering The Star and Dipes. It's a weird patriotic diaper thing that probably somehow actually exists.
As weird as I envisioned MAGA porn, it somehow topped even my sick mind.

This will get overturned.

Fifth Circuit doing Fifth Circuit things. This time by applying rational basis test rather than strict scrutiny despite its impact on adults.

The Court has dealt with this twice and twice found these laws unconstitutional in Reno and Ashcroft.

I just don't see how conservatives and celebrities will want this policy wide spread with their fears of their kink being compromised in leaks or hacks. I mean Ted Cruz already messed up enough by not realizing anyone could see who he follows on Twitter. Just wait until their porn history get out there.

I just want to say I was hacked or set up, it was an inside job. That was not me that watched those depraved acts, and I promise we will work tirelessly to get to the bottom of this.

50 years later the capability is even more expansive.

Example 1 of millions to follow.

Trump’s endorsed Ohio Senate choice …

How can one state interfere with interstate porn commerce. Doesn't affect me. But what is next, banning sCinamax?
