Anybody ever listen to this moron? He has spouted off for the past two nights about how terrible Iowa is, how great it would be if a 12-0 Iowa was left out for Stanford. He then goes on to say if Alabama were to lose it'd be a travesty if the two best conferences (SEC/PAC-12) were left out because the system wasn't set up for that. They are so good they beat up on one another. News flash for this moron, Stanford was dominated I mean DOMINATED by Northwestern.

The SEC is not a top 3 conference this year. After Alabama there is a pretty big drop off

Another set of games that "conveniently" gets ignored regarding Stanford was when Stanford was LUCKY that Washington State missed a field goal at the end of their game that would have given Stanford another loss in addition to those two they already have...

No. 8 Stanford survives at Washington State on late missed field goal

Oh, but they say that Washington State was also a great Pac-12 team and therefore being close to losing to them was no big deal, right?

Well, pollsters ALSO ignored that Washington State came closer to beating Stanford than they did PORTLAND F'ing STATE earlier in the season. I guess for Pac-12 teams they are ALL excused for the screwy losses they have in the early part of the season in their non-conference games!

Portland State Vikings shock Washington State Cougars 24-17 in Pullman

And folks, Washington State lost to Portland State AT HOME too!

So Pac-12, why isn't Portland State in the rankings like all of the other "great" teams that beat Pac-12 teams huh?

Wait, you aren't seriously ragging on him for being negative are you? Isn't that the very definition of "irony".......

Listening to Kirk Ferentz's press conference I think he enjoys the negative talk about Iowa. He basically said we're going into the MSU game as underdogs, nothing new, something we expected. Kirk also said that Iowa was playing with "house money". He mentioned how important the 1st game was against Illinois State in setting the mind set of the team. I think he did that just to throw the strength of schedule back in the face of those naysayers. Iowa was always done better as the underdog and I expect them do the same against MSU.

I don't think anyone said the playoffs were fair...if they were fair...

Alabama would play USC for the title every year...
