Ashley Babbitt...Citizen's Medal of Honor...

Her family said she went down the rabbit hole and was obsessed. Then she got so wild she wanted to jump thru the window where House members were sheltering and guards and protective services had their weapons drawn telling everyone to get back.

The crowd was yelling to hang the VP so she brought her death onto herself. No one thought a bunch of crazy americans would attack the capitol and Babbit didnt think that she would do something that would get her shot. she was wrong. Sorry for her and her family that she went down that hole
Same with these FBI agents >

Sorry, I gave you too much yesterday and I think that motivated you to sit here all night looking for more. :( That or you were waiting for I97 to come bury the hatchet and give you a reach around. Nevertheless, you're really boring the hell out of me, so I don't mean to be rude, but in the interest of your well being, I have to stop replying to you. Godspeed, sweet child!!

Capitol police opened the doors for the first people who went into the Capitol lol
tl;dr No they did not. That was much later and only because the police were trying to de-escalate that part of the mob.

This is ALL documented on video. Wikipedia has a minute by minute breakdown of the whole event.

________

At 12:53 riotors overwhelmed the police barricades on Capitol grounds. They weren’t let past those barricades they overran them. Ten minutes later the traitors had broken through three layers of defensive barricades to approach the building itself. They would have been in their rights to shoot them at one of the barricades. There are numerous videos of police being seriously injured in those first attacks and that wasn’t even in the building itself.

At 1:59 the rioters attempted the first break in. This was not sanctioned by police, nor were those traitors allowed in at that point.

At 2:11 a window was smashed in by a man who had forcibly stolen a police riot shield and used it to break down the window. At 2:12 the first person makes it in. He was not escorted, he was pepper sprayed. He then opens the door for other traitors. That guy should have been killed. Then Ashley would probably be alive.

Later some police did let them in as it was out of their control at that point. The person who shot the video said the crowd was threatening the police there and they let them in out of fear for their own safety. Those people were coming in one way or the other. The police at that location chose to be passive…they should have shot them as traitors.

Anyway, had lethal force been used much earlier this could have all been prevented and Ashley would be around to annoy us to this day.

She wa in a large crowd that had already fought officers who were using less than lethal measures. Maybe she should have gotten a clue?

A lot going on that day forsure but what happened at other locations is separate of what was going on at her location. And it's worth noting, in the midst of all the chaos and violence at those other locations, zero people were shot.

I'm curious as to why no less than lethal devices were used on her.

That was the true last line of defense. There were no other barricades, no other locked doors beyond that point. It was the police with guns drawn warning people not to enter then the legislators. If you try to climb through a window defended by a police officer with their gun drawn on you just what’s the f*ck do you think will happen?

What non lethal devices would you suggest be used to stop her and just as importantly the rest of the lunatics that were prepared to follow her into the room?

The people in the room were in a last stand scenario, They had no where else to go and a crowd of lunatics were hell bent on getting to them. The LEO’s were charged with protecting them first and foremost, I believe they accomplished their mission.

Northern,

Do you believe the rioters were in the wrong that day?

Do you believe they should’ve been prosecuted and jailed?

Do you agree with Trump pardoning them this week?

Just trying to understand the context for your points this morning.

I agree, we should have made sure there were hundreds of Babbitts that day.

It would have spared Orange ShitStain the trouble of pardoning the traitors.

The doors were locked and baracaded those are less lethal measures. That didn't work for the mob, hence they resorted to lethal devices.
